about us

This site started out as a college project which I’ve decided to publish and continue developing. I recently graduated after returning to college online to study web development. Prior to that I had started my family and they inspired the content of this site as we ourselves looked for products for our home or to use away from home. 

I have a large and very close extended family and circle of friends, aged from 93 years old through to new borns and living across the country. Between us and our kids we hike, camp, hunt, play lots of sports, commute and enjoy many celebrations. They are my team for this site! I document their real life experience and reviews of the products we include on the site. I provide products to them and they put them to the test over a period of time, so you can be guaranteed that we are not just regurgitating product descriptions or other reviews. Our opinions on products are honest and based on typical use. We do not have a laboratory environment and we don’t test products beyond their limits. 

As well as documenting the reviews, I do lots of research on drinkware related topics and products. My mission is to continue building the content on the site to try to make sure we’re answering all of the questions you may have about drinkware!

I am not a professional photographer or videographer so you will not find lots of glossy, well edited shots on this site. I do try to capture shots clearly that will get you the info you need. 

To attempt to cover some of my costs for maintaining this site, some of the product links may be affiliated and we may qualify for a small commission if you decide to purchase via those links. None of the products are sponsored and I want to avoid placing ads on the site which might lead to a poor experience for readers.
